Ralph Heiser, left, demonstrates defensive positioning to Christopher Brothers during a Miracle League baseball practice. Heiser started as a volunteer coach for the Columbia River Miracle League. He is now president of the organization, which in 2012 included 120 players with mental and physical challenges.
