The Washington State Department of Transportation keeps a fleet of trucks and snow plows ready for action throughout the winter at its Vancouver maintenance facility. Forecasters expect low-elevation snow to fall across the region this weekend, with the first chance of flakes arriving Saturday night. Snow showers are a strong possibility at least through Monday.
