Vancouver Attack Girls 7th Grade basketball team takes 1st
place in 7th Annual Oregon City Girls Classic in the 7th grade division.
The team beat Oregon City, Beaverton, Inferno and Clackamas to get to
the championship where they played YEA. The team won the game in the
last 8 seconds with a drive down the full length of the court to the
basket. Basket made and foul called. The player hit the free throw
making the score 51-50 with 2 seconds left on the clock. YEA put up a
Hail Mary which was way short to end the game.
Vancouver Attack is a traveling club team coached by Pete Scruggs. The
team is made of of girls around Vancouver and Clark County.
