The former Pacific Wood Treating site in Ridgefield has been one of the region's most high-profile cleanup efforts during the last decade. Washington State Department of Ecology officials walked the property earlier this month as the process winds down. Shown, from left, are site manager Craig Rankine, hydrogeologist Guy Barrett and public involvement coordinator Michael Bergman, along with MFA staff engineer Lindsey Crosby, who works on the construction site.
