This Mercedes C280 was found abandoned on a downtown Vancouver street in December 2011. In March, it sat at a local junk yard as customers slowly strip it of valuable parts. Days later, the vehicle would be crushed and turned to scrap. At top, the C280 first came to The Columbian's attention as Vancouver police and a Triple J tow truck flank the car near Sunrise Bagels in downtown Vancouver in December.
