Jose Castaneda scored a new bike at the 2010 holiday party hosted by the Northeast Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association. Last year 800 children attended the community Christmas party. Not only does the party provide gifts for children, but it supplies food boxes for the needy, too. Party planners are having a toy drive July 6-27 for the December event, which gets busier every year.
