Firefighter/paramedic Erik Rosendahl collects a donation at the 'Fill the Boot' fundraiser near the corner of Fourth Plain and Andresen in September 2006. In 2011, the city of Vancouver told the firefighters union that it would not be allowed to use city streets for its annual fundraiser and held it in the unincorporated county. This year, the city council passed a new code, but firefighters said it is too restrictive and will hold it in Hazel Dell again.
