Brian Gomez, 12, a seventh-grader at Wy'east Middle School, signals at a stop sign as he waits for other bicyclists to pass during a bicycle safety class at the school Thursday. The two-week-long unit is offered at Wy'east and McLoughlin middle schools with support from the nonprofit Bike Clark County.
