Proebstel farmer Gary Boldt, president of the Clark-Cowlitz County Farm Bureau, said a proposed code change that would allow roadside farm stands to be as large as 1,000 square feet doesn't go far enough. He told the Clark County commissioners Tuesday that he'd like farm stands to be as large as 2,000 square feet. Commissioners backed off doing anything, though, after farmers testified that proposed code changes would hurt their ability to do business.
