Friends of the Carpenter's the Rev. Duane Sich, second from left, Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt and former Mayor Bruce Hagensen. along with others, bless three boxes made to hold a written history of the sister-city relationship between Vancouver and Joyo, Japan. Hagensen will present the boxes to Joyo officials on Dec. 4.
