Bonneville Dam, dedicated in 1937, was the first of 31 federal dams on the Columbia Basin, 11 of them on the Columbia River itself. The Bonneville Power Administration and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Saturday marked the 75th anniversary of the dam's dedication with a tribute to the landmark hydroelectric facility.
