Suspended by heavy cable attached to a reach forklift's beefy hooks, a huge truss is gently lowered into place as a worker from Arrow Timber Framing hammers the tenon into a corresponding mortise in the support beam. Another worker helps guide the truss while holding onto the wooden pegs that will be pounded in to hold the joint secure once the truss is in place.
