"Dear Abby" advice columnist Pauline Friedman Phillips, known to millions of readers as Abigail van Buren, signs autographs for fans after the dedication of a "Dear Abby" star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles in February 2001. Phillips, who had Alzheimerís disease, died Wednesday. She was 94.
