Bonnie Franklin, of the 1970's sitcom "One Day at a Time," shown on Feb. 26, 2008. She died Friday, March 1 at her home due to complications from pancreatic cancer, family members said. She was 69.

Janice Veca, 86, and Donald Van Rossen, 83, met last year while both living at the Touchmark at Fairview Village retirement community. Both of their spouses had died. At first Veca didn't think she'd ever marry again, but Van Rossen's charm and persistence paid off. They'll be married in front of family and friends in a traditional ceremony March 16 at Glenwood Community Church in Vancouver. "He treats me like a queen," she said.

Jeremy Bush told rescue crews he heard a loud crash near midnight Thursday, then heard his brother screaming.
