Workmen prepare to roll the front half of a house onto its foundation and match it up with the back half of the modular, already in place, in September 2013. The house was built by Mountain View and Evergreen high school students in partnership with Evergreen Habitat for Humanity. That organization is one of six local nonprofit agencies that will share a $1.1 million Department of Labor "YouthBuild" grant. Participants in the program will work on two energy-efficient low-income home construction projects with Evergreen Habitat for Humanity.
