Enjoy Rome without leaving home! Rome likes to knead and quietly purr. This orange tabby likes to curl up in small spaces, as well as on a blanket or warm lap. These pets are among those available for adoption from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday at West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, 2675 S. Index St., Washougal. Fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations and flea treatment. Call 360-335-0941 for the dog shelter, 360-835-3464 for the cat shelter, or adoptions@wcghs.org.
