Gentle Kahekili hails from Hawaii. He likes to sit outside at cafes and roll in the grass. Any dogs in his home need to be over 40 pounds. He would like to meet dogs or kids with whom he may be living. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
