Reader asks if ‘Good Behavior’ is returning

You have questions. I have some answers. Just let me put down this turkey leg first.

Is “Good Behavior” coming back?

The TNT drama starring Michelle Dockery of “Downton Abbey” has kept viewers hanging since the second season ended in December 2017 with disappointing ratings. November of this year finally brought news, it wasn’t good for fans. Even though there had been talk about at least wrapping up the series in some way, the show has been canceled without plans for a finale. Series co-creator Chad Hodge said on Instagram, “Just know that Letty and Javier are out there somewhere … living their best lives (eh probably not lol). But they are alive. Their story continues. Though for now, as Letty would say … BYE.”

I just went through the two seasons of Hulu’s show “Freakish.” Any chance for a third? I enjoyed all the young actors and actresses.

The fantasy series ended its second season in 2017 and there have been no plans for more.

You said in a recent column that Eileen Davidson had played Ashley Abbott for 36 years. Actually, she may have started playing Ashley 36 years ago, but during much of that time she has not been on the show. Could you also confirm something for me? The character’s full name is Susan Ashley Abbott. When she joined the cast, she applied for a job at Jabot calling herself Susan Ashley, so she would be hired for her qualifications, not her family connections.

I should have factored in the peripatetic lives of many soap actors when figuring out Davidson’s work. According to CBS, she played Ashley on “The Young and the Restless” from 1982 until 1989, 1999-2007, 2008-2012 and from 2014 to this year. She also played Ashley on “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2007-08, the network says. SoapCentral.com has a different, very detailed timeline, but let’s just accept that Davidson came and went from the show over the years. As for the name, several sources say that she was called Ashley Suzanne Abbott; she did use the name Susan Ashley when getting a job at the family business.

I am a big fan of the show “Bosch.” I just binge-watched season 4. Is there going to be a season 5???

The Amazon series based on the novels by Michael Connelly is set for both a fifth and sixth season. “”I’m on the set where we are wrapping up the filming of season 5,” Connelly told Deadline.com in mid-November, “and now this great news that we get to do it again with a sixth season. Can’t wait!” The fifth season will arrive in 2019.

Now, is there any green bean casserole left?
