About this place

CASEE is an eighty acre community laboratory which educates people of all ages. Our overall goal is to integrate Agriculture, Science, and Environmental Studies. We bring together students, community members, and professionals to work on solutions to environmental problems.

CASEE involves "real world" research and service in the fields of forestry, organic gardening, soil and water conservation, plant propigation and habitat restoration. Students attend a three-hour block of classes on-site and the other three at their sending high schools. They receive credits in science, English, and an elective. Students have the opprotunity to undertake a project in their area of interest, set goals, design a project, research their idea, and present their project.
