Bio: Adrian Cortes was elected to the Battle Ground City Council in 2011. He also serves on the city’s chamber of commerce’s board of directors and the Washington State University diversity advisory board.
Cortes has served as commissioner for the Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Commission, and as commissioner of the Battle Ground Planning Commission, of which he’s been twice elected as chairman. He’s also served on board for Arc Southwest Washington.
Cortes is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human development from Warner Pacific College in the Portland metro area. In addition to his city council service, Cortes works as a real estate investor.
