Bio: John Braun, president of Braun Northwest, has served as a member of the Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees, Providence Centralia Hospital Community Board, Centralia College Foundation Board of Directors, Lewis County Food Bank Coalition, Enterprise Washington Board of Directors, and the National Association of Manufacturers President’s Council.
Braun grew up in Ohio and attended the University of Washington on a U.S. Navy scholarship. He graduated in 1989 with a degree in electrical engineering. He then spent seven years on active duty with the Navy, and he continues to serve as a commander in the Navy Reserve.
Braun received his master’s degree in business and engineering from the University of Michigan in 1999, and returned to Washington to manage the family business.
