Bio: Julie Olson is chairwoman of the Ridgefield School Board. She was elected to the Ridgefield School Board in 2005 and has served as chairwoman of the board for the past four years.
Olson has spent most of her career in laboratory distribution and scientific sales, and she spent the last 15 years as a manager in that field. She has worked for Nurnberg Scientific Distributors in Portland since 2008.
Olson has a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Idaho. She is a native of Washington state and has lived in Ridgefield since 1993.
