Bio: Craig Pridemore was elected to the Washington state Senate in 2004, and he served as a Clark County commissioner from 1999 to 2004. Pridemore has announced he will not seek reelection to the Senate. Instead, he plans to run for state auditor.
As a member of the Senate, Pridemore chairs the Senate's Government Operations, Tribal Relations and Elections Committee and the Joint Legislative Audit Review Committee. He also is on the Ways and Means Committee, the Environment Committee, and the Health and Long Term Care Committee. Pridemore also serves on the Citizen Commission for Performance Measurement of Tax Preferences.
Prior to becoming a politician, Pridemore was an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army and a finance manager for the Clark County Department of Public Works. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Washington and is a graduate of Fort Vancouver High School.
