Bio: Jim Moeller began work as a Washington state House of Representatives member in 2003, and before that, Moeller served two terms on the Vancouver City Council.
In the state Legislature, Moeller serves as speaker pro tempore, meaning he presides over sessions in the House. He also serves on the House's Health Care and Wellness Committee, Labor and Workforce Development Committee, Transportation Committee and Rules Committee.
Moeller has worked for more than two decades as a chemical dependency counselor with Kaiser Permanente. Moeller, a Vancouver native, graduated from Fort Vancouver High School and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Washington State University.
