Looks like many of us in the county will finally be able to vote on a proposed sales tax to fund the operation of a proposed light rail system connecting Portland to Vancouver. I'm thinking:
If Vancouver ever wants to begin to consider itself a player in the big city world, we need light rail. So I'm in favor of this sales tax. 20% 499 votes
I'm against light rail so -- by extension -- I'm against this sales tax. 59% 1429 votes
I'm actually in favor of light rail but we need to find a different way to fund light rail operation other than a sales tax. 19% 467 votes
