Second outdoor market to open in Battle Ground

Battle Ground’s outdoor market scene is expanding this season. Battle Ground Village is launching its own market Saturday and expects to open with about 35 vendors. Until this year, the mixed-used development on Southeast 14th Loop was home to the Battle Ground Farmers Market on Saturdays during warm weather months. When the farmers market decided to hold all of its events this year at the Gardner Center Plaza on State Highway 503 and Northeast 199th Street this year, management at Battle Ground Village got the idea to start an event of its own to draw shoppers.
