Numerous family members will join them at a local Mexican restaurant on their 72nd anniversary Friday. The couple lived in Auburn when Art worked for a company making containers for frozen food. When the company relocated to Portland, the Jacobsons moved to Vancouver. They bought a house about 10 blocks east of Southwest Washington Medical Center, which at the time was practically in the country. They still live in the same house, but now it is surrounded by other houses.
