About Corporations having the characteristics and rights of individuals. Does that extend to partnerships and individual business owners?
And, does it mean that individuals now have the same rights as corporations? Like deducting costs of living for income tax purposes? After all, corporations live to do business and can deduct all costs(almost)of living. It seems only fair that I should be able to deduct my lunches and car costs and a bunch of other stuff. The corporations seem to be able to deduct the costs of business lunches and seminars and conventions.
But the one I like best is protection from liabilty by the stockholders and in many cases, boards of directors.
