Say something...

I'm not so sure Gents. I think to re-build the old Parkerhouse Restaurant is going to be a real hit. Aside from Roots and his other place Lapellah, there really is no where to go on this side of the river if you want to put on the dog a little. You couldn't ask for a better location, on a beautiful stretch of river, easy access to boating, and 10 minutes from I205. With no bother at all, you can pile up a $100 bucks in a variety of chain restaurants around here but what do you have- just a lot of money spent on nothing special. No, I think Brent & company have made a sound risk and will reap the reward in time. I can tell you many of my friends around here will be visiting his place and often once it opens. And with some vigorous marketing what do you think the fine dining crowd across the Columbia will do when they realize it's but 10 minutes across I 205?

Hi, Mike. I just saw your wall posts. Honestly, I'm bad about checking my wall and didn't see your comments until just now. I sincerely apologize for this. You shouldn't have to feel like you're talking into the ether with your comments.

For what it's worth, we don't actually know who posts under anonymous names. We only have access to their IP address and e-mail addresses.

If you do have a tip for us, please e-mail me (matt.wastradowski@columbian.com) and I'll pass it on to the correct reporter. We would just ask that you don't post the accusations publicly, because that is against our community guidelines.

If there's something to what you're saying, that could very well be in a story. But I look forward to your e-mail.

Thanks very much, Mike.
