Too many words for too many issues during these trying times. It seems that we are far more vigilant about attacking each other verbally, personally, than we are about respecting each other, a disparate view and leaving it at that. Electronic messaging can be a very useful tool but in its lacking of that physical third dimension of communication, physicality (face-to-face, body language, eye contact), it is too often used as a weapon without the fear of identification. Please people, give each other the benefit of the doubt first in everything you do. This doesn't mean you have to agree, but that you value and understand the fact that most are doing the best they can with what they have. This simple exercise has changed my view of the world and how I relate to the people and events in it to a degree that I wish everyone could understand and follow.

Say something...

biznut, it's never too late to discuss a matter, including an article which hasn't been read in quite some time. I take into consideration what you have stated and we can only hope the obvious threat of a double-dip recession doesn't hit...not just for the Mohegan Tribe, but for everyone. I know some of the employment numbers nationally are showing promise but with winter just around the corner, what trade jobs are currently in place will change as the weather changes. It's pretty sad that our national economic figures will soon reflect holiday employment which like the census jobs....they will too fade. It is my opinion that Late January and February are going to be the hardest hit months yet. I only hope I'm wrong.

And biznut, thanks for the reply to my honest thoughts and concerns. It is much appreciated.
