Wow, car tabs and PDC disclosures are the issues? Really? Perhaps the Columbian editorial board missed the massive fiscal problems of our state. I prefer a flawed fiscal conservative over a gouge-the-taxpayer democrat.
Interesting the problems the columbian points out on the two republicans are both connected to their ownership of a business (that created jobs). Both Probst and Stonier have never signed the front of a check. Perhaps that is why their PDC forms are easy to file, and they never owned property connected to an Oregon business.
Does Mike think the current commissioner isn't lobbying to change I-937? She knows what it is really costing Clark to comply with I-937. I'm betting they are all up there begging for a change.
You can thank BPA and I-937 for this rate increase.
Wait a minute, you pilloried Clark PUD for raising rates 3 times in 10 years, and you "Cheer" C-tran for raising rates 3 times in 3 Years? Short memory or are you really bad at Math?
The Oregon tags had not expired. Mr Harris owes a "thank you" to Kathie Durbin and Pete Aller for pointing it out before the police pulled him over for it.

I'm thinking the moron writing the article got it wrong. The PUD serves MORE customers not less.

Union sues over Wash prison job cuts
Incredible. Unions kind of missing what is happening out here.
Let them strike. The skills of a prison guard are probably not beyond the average unemployed person out there.

Barnes for Utility Board
son_my, too easy. Lewis county owns a damn, has only 31,000 customers, about a seventh of Clark, and is a backwater with no growth.
Compare Clark to a utility that doesn't have a damn and has real growth. You'll feel alot better.

Cowlitz owns hydropower. Clark does not. When comparing rates always compare those to Clark who also do not own their own dams.
