I feel that Obama's closed microphone comments yesterday gave him some clout. I gained more respect for him and have always seen him in a way in which those comments portray him. Don't f**k with me!

And when the major media outlets asked for a response he said he wouldn't apologize for anything he said. Good for him.

The Republican response. It was a campaign speech for 2012. They got their butts kicked and they know it.

I agree that the poorest people in our society are suffering more than many of us in the middle class can imagine. I do think that the Democrats do try to help the poorest among us where the Republicans seem to be trying to eliminate them as is evident by trying to eliminate Title X and other programs that give them a chance at a minimal existence.

Two votes in this houshold but I am afraid that my goup of friends are not as informed as they need to be.

I am glad that you know of a few hundred people that are well informed. This country needs about 200 million more and we might have a chance.

I hope that the American people have had it with the lies. I think that the reason the Republicans are able to keep existing is that the American people quickly forget and also easily believe the talking points that the Republicans cycle back through in every election.

And I think that most of the population is very uninformed.

I respectfully have to disagree.

We only have two choices, Republican or Democrat.

The middle class is the backbone of this country. The Democrats are trying to maintain it's existence while the Republicans are trying to destroy it. I think it is important to keep the discussion going as to what each party is trying to accomplish in the "Democratic/Republican centrifuge."

Those of us in the middle class can't afford to become "colorblind to party affiliation and eliminate ideological buzzwords and talking points." Our very existence is dependant upon being aware of what the Republicans are really trying to accomplish.

Three to hospital after I-205 spinout

There wasn't a Urabus in the vicinity and no sport bikes were seen doing 100 MPH. Leave buttercup out of this. Besides, he now has an avitar that can't be pronounced. Something that ends in 1111111?

Some voter-approved parks put on hold

*Good. We don't have enough money for the parks we now have. Homeless bums will have to find other places to hang out.*

Do you actually have to work at being an idiot or does it come naturally?

Vancouver woman wins $1 million Oregon Lottery prize

You're so dumb you can't even argue the correct Republican talking points of this article. She was on unemployement and spent $50 on Lottery tickets, and in another state even.

I will bet that she is broke in 24 months.
