so i don't understand how people can make judgment when they have never been through this... i can understand if the parents have bad things to say. because i can only imagine how they feel. i feel extremely bad for what had happened and i know that he may deserve what may be coming to him but when you go through the life he had and understood where this kid came from you might get why he thinks the way he does. when you have both you parents abandon you and your having your older brother taking care of you through what i think is the hardest part of any kids life is there teen years. he try's get people to care for him and in some cases he will do what ever he can just to do so. i am not saying that is in excuse of why he shot this kid or saying i think that it is OK because it is not but the comments that are made just make is harder on the people that it effects personally ... just because you live by him and think hes a bad kid... you are wrong because if you said that you've never had your kids make a mistake or even your self that did something that you may regret. people are not perfect and we all do things that we wish we didn't. but in some cases you get a 2nd chance. this time neither of them get to look back at this situation and be like i can learn from it because now there life as they knew it will never be the same. kids need time to make mistakes because in most cases that is how you learn the best.
Adolescents are at risk for making impulsive decisions based on their immature brain development. Everyone who cares for young people should be aware of this, but it is not commonly discussed.

your comment is not true..I did not abandoned my son damian..He chose to live with his brother..he is a good kid and yes he made a bad choice..but that is not the parents or his brothers fault..
