Good Morning, John. I just wanted to say, thanks for the nice surprise to find a note in my wall by you. For the longest time, I hadn't recognized your talents in creative writing were written in such a way to spark discussion and a creative one at that. Sometimes you take a lot of heat from those who comment, me included. Sorry about that.
Anyhow, when I began working on my family history writing in recent weeks, that little light bulb went off in my head and I thought "That Man is Brilliant!"
Keep up the good work, John. I might not always agree with your editorials but I figure life would be quite boring if we always agreed.
John, Thanks for the message. I always enjoy your columns. You think out of the box, have a great sense of humor, and are one of the few writers who really understands the importance of public education.
I hope the rest of the editorial board listens to your views when it comes to public education; seems like they haven't been lately. Best Wishes and keep up the fight.
