Thanks very much for posting the credit union charts. I didn't get a chance to see your print story.

Hi Libby - Great job on this website. We need to start listing the "must know folks" in Clark County with contact information. Possibly set it up on the front page?

Ms Tucker,
Oregon venture capital surged in first half of 2010, contradicting the fear mongering about measures 66-67, and about how I-1098 would lower entrepreneurship here.
The day after you wrote about I-1098 Wednesday, Mike Rogoway (The Oregonian) wrote:
"Oregon companies attracted $106 million in venture capital during the first half of the 2010, the biggest take in four years, according to... the National Venture Capital Association.

Hey, i'm doing an assignment for my AP statistic class and i'm wondering where you got your statistics from in the article you wrote about "Clark County companies rank high for growth"(http://www.columbian.com/news/2010/aug/24/clark-county-companies-rank-high-for-growth/) i'm wondering where did you exactly found out that ClearAccess was ranked no.66 nationwide. Was there a particular source or article from where you read it from? It would be helpful if you could respond to my short question. Thank you

Hello Libby,
Interested in your opinion...
When driving north on I-5 just south of the interstate bridge, you pass a billboard put up by Columbia Credit Union that offers to help us become "responsible borrowers". Then, at the intersection of Pioneer and 45th streets in Ridgefield, a prominent sign announces that Columbia Credit union is offering 100% financing on the multitude of homes being built there.
Am I the only one seeing a touch of hypocrisy here? Aren't the people with little or no equity in their homes the most likely to walk away from their loans? Isn't this considered to be one of the practices that caused the current real estate bust?
Seems irresponsible to me. Any opinion?
