The "morons" who foolishly use guns are not confined to those who leave loaded guns on night stands. My guess is most accidents occur from over confident morons.

You know… After leaving Vietnam after my third tour, I have had a loaded .45 cal automatic on my nightstand for over 42 years. Forty two years and you know what? Not once has that gun jumped up and shot at anyone. Not once has it grown legs and walked away to shoot someone.
Yes I know it is an old saying… and yes I know it has been used so many times. But… It is still 100% true –
