Raised in southern IL; lived in Chicago long enough to meet my husband, have two daughters before we moved out here in '79; love the mountains, coast and high desert. Have been a GDI since college. Have been involved with Greenpeace, but never felt that they were the ONLY wildlife org. Love "Dog Whisperer" and "Dogtown" on Fridays. Love to read, especially history. Am a lifelong Christian, but not really involved with church-going right now..still trying to find a church home.
