Say something...

Your hate for Ronald Reagan is obvious, as exhibited with the screen name you have chosen.

The Soviets were taking over country after country during Jimmy's Carter's sad period of time as POTUS.

Reagan put his foot down and prevailed with Peace through Strength.
You can try to ignore history, but
the truth bothers you. You hate Republicans who stand up for their country, yet love Democrats who fly around the world on apology tours.

Obviously you are a Marxist and hate capitalism, or you were educated in the public schools. Companies make profits and pay employees. They provide jobs to people, unlike people like you who probably do not work. If companies didn't exist, there would be no computers, no internet, no nothing. You would not be able to post comments on the Columbian website because you would not have a computer. There would be no Columbian either. No cars, no TV's, no nothing.
Companies do not exist to be non profit. Everyone has to make money. That’s how an economy works. Communism does not work as we have seen with the Soviet Union.
Oh, and by the way, your "God" Barry Obama has added more to the national debt in his first 19 months Than All Presidents from Washington Through Reagan Combined....Says Gov’t Data

We cannot have a conversation because you are not with the program and are very extreme.

Do you work, or are you on government assistance? Please answer the question. If you do work, why are you working for an evil, greedy employer who just cares about profits. Why don't you quit? Take a stand and put your money where your mouth is!
I'd really like to know if you work for someone, or if you are government assistance. My bet is that you are on the public dole since you hate greedy profit oriented businesses and corporations.

ronnieraygun_won_the_coldwar — September 10, 2010 at 10:24 a.m. ( reply | | suggest removal )

Oh by the way, It was BUSH that has added more debt than all previous presidents combined. Stop trying to pin the 900 unaccounted for BILLION on Obama. That was Bush and Corporate financier, Henry paulson and his three page contract basically giving a gift to the banks that gambled away OUR mortgages, due to the repeal of Glass Steagal.

ronnieraygun — September 10, 2010 at 11:28 a.m. ( reply | | suggest removal )

But if you hate evil businesses and corporations, why work for them?
BTW, you single out Reagan, Bush, but what did Clinton do for you? He could have reversed all those things YOU HATE after Reagan and Bush 1. What about Clinton’s Nafta that sent all those jobs to Mexico? So, you need to include him on your list of hatred too. It's obvious that you voted for the Marxist that is running the country now, so what has improved for you since he has been elected? You are living in a dream world and you are obviously quite confused and conflicted. When this Marxist ends up bankrupting the country, you will be happy because there will be no more evil businesses and corporations. You will not longer have a mortgage to pay, or a house to live in.

You also have class envy too. If you are not capable, or educated enough to find a higher paying job, then it’s your own fault. In a free country, we have the ability to be anything we want to be. Some have more abilities than others. This is why we have the Bill Gates’ of the world, and this is why we have people like you. Some people are just more capable of making it better than others. Just because you never made much out of yourself, then you are jealous and you blame others who are more successful than you. Do you also cry when you lose a game? Are you angry when other kids get more candy than you on Halloween?

ronnieraygun_won_the_coldwar — September 10, 2010 at 11:43 a.m. ( reply | | suggest removal )

Man, you are one hateful dude.
Name me one other country that has a better system than America's capitalism, and if it is better, go move there and improve your life and quit crying because you don't have a brighter bulb than most other people do.

Take responsibilty for your life and quit trying to blame others for your shortcomings.

We had a really fine system here until Barney Frank and all those other scumbags Democrats wanted social justice for all and gave loans to low income people who could not afford a home mortage.

It was the looney tunes on your side that screwed everything up for everyone! They hijacked capitalism and broke the bank and all those elitists like John Kerry have all the money.

Real personal income for Americans - excluding government payouts such as Social Security - has fallen by 3.2 percent since President Obama took office in January 2009, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis.
For comparison, real personal income during the first 15 months in office for President George W. Bush, who inherited a milder recession from his predecessor, dropped 0.4 percent. Income excluding government payouts increased 12.7 percent during Mr. Bush's eight years in office.
"This is hardly surprising," said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, an economist and former director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. "Under President Obama, only federal spending is going up; jobs, business startups, and incomes are all down. It is proof that the government can't spend its way to prosperity."
According to the bureau's statistics, per capita income dropped during 2009 in 47 states, with only modest gains in the other states, West Virginia, Maine and Maryland. But most of those increases were attributed to rising income from the government, such as Medicare and unemployment benefits.
Two of the most populous states in the country reported dramatic declines: Per capita income in California dropped 3.5 percent to $42,325; in New York, the drop was 3.8 percent to $46,957.
"The evidence from New York and California reinforces a basic lesson: Where government gets too large, prosperity suffers. Let's hope that the Congress learns this lesson before it is too late for the country as a whole," said Mr. Holtz-Eakin, who also served as chief economic policy adviser to Sen. John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.
On the campaign trail, Mr. Obama often derided Mr. Bush for what he said were dramatically falling incomes for workers.
"American families, since George Bush has been in office, have seen average family incomes go down $2,000," Mr. Obama said in a September 2008 speech on the economy in Green Bay, Wis.
The bureau, which doesn't compile statistics on "family" income, reported that per capita income rose during Mr. Bush's two terms, from $29,159 to $32,632 (using 2005 dollar values as a base). During Mr. Obama's 15 months in office, per capita income has dropped nearly 1 percent to $32,343.

Yeah, my business is hurting now because I am being taxed out of prosperity. All the money I earn now goes to taxes. And my clients are going of business. I had to lay off three people in the last two months because you, and Barry hate me because I am considered "rich". And I am not rich. And I did not go to college. I only have a high school education, but I worked hard and made something out of my life. And my $270k home is now only worth $215k. And you people classify me as rich? Just because people own businesses, that does not make them rich. And if Barry gets rid of the bush tax cuts that has allowed me to stay in business these past few years, I am going to have to lay off two more people. And if I cannot survive after that, I am going to have to close the doors. His policies, and your policies are hurting people like me who provide jobs to people.
Government does not create jobs. People create jobs. Government just needs to get out of the way and let live in peace and make some money so I can survive and employ people.

So much for the healthcare lies....

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama told voters repeatedly during the health care debate that the overhaul legislation would bring down fast-rising health care costs and save them money. Now, he's hemming and hawing on that.

So far, the law he signed earlier this year hasn't had the desired effect. An analysis from Medicare's Office of the Actuary this week said that the nation's health care tab will go up - not down - through 2019 as a result of Obama's sweeping law, though the increase is modest.

Obama offered some caveats when asked in his news conference Friday about the apparent discrepancy between what he promised and what's actually happening so far. On several other topics, too, his rhetoric fell short of a full accounting.

Thank you, ronnieraygun for the kind words! Yes, we do have to keep slamming the lies down. This election is probably going to be anything but pretty, but we have to keep up the fight! Your post are so appreciated! Wish I had your debate skills and ability to express points clearly!

It is plumbed back into the downspout. Works great, but it was just a test to check the concept. I really need a much larger reservoir...like 1,000 gallons or something. This is just 50.

If you google it there are actually companies with entire systems that hook into a water feature in your front or back yard. Only way you could justify it would be if you were going to add a pond anyways...or just wanted to do it for the joy of it. (In this economy a tuff task for me...)

Ronnieraygun, you must understand that I called boblarimer out on his claim to Mr. Moeller's comment against Christians. He obviously couldn't find what he was looking for and was literally stumbling around trying to find whatever dirt he could on the man. I had given him the benefit of the doubt and asked him to provide the evidence. What he claimed was his evidence had absolutely nothing to do with his original claim. Bob also made a reference to me regarding tea parties which I hadn't even been engaged in the conversation regarding tea parties and their effect and I pointed it out to Bob. I then ended my conversation with Bob as I knew I would receive an inadequate response. So for you to say I am encouraging Bob...no, I give everyone who wishes to discuss issues with me the fair chance to defend their comment. Whether you like it or not, that is how I am. If I've lost your respect, it's no hard feelings, Ronnie. If you notice today Ronnieraygun, I haven't engaged in any discussion with the person now, have I. In fact, this is the first discussion I've had with anybody since this morning. I do have a life beyond the "C" and quite frankly ronnie, I am finding the "C" to be quite boring today. Maybe because all I am reading today is evidence of the "dumbing down of Americans." It's always the same old, same old with different insults and attacks upon one another and I don't play that game. So ronnie, are you still "disappointed in me" and have lost your "respect for me?" If so, there's not much I can do about it now, is there. Maybe, I'll continue my discussion with others, maybe not...but the fact of the matter is Ronnieraygun, I do not withdraw my discussion with others just because I might lose respect by some. I guess I'm just a headstrong woman who doesn't give up.

I know what you mean. It's easy to go all postal on these websites. That's one reason I use my real name...it keeps me from saying something I'll regret later. Hopefully it will keep me from getting too out of line and engaging in useless personal attacks.

I do appreciate your remarks on the website though. I don't agree with everything, but we really need the input of everyone. The user "bharris" says some pretty provocative things, but I notice that person hasn't engaged in personal attacks like bob larimer has.

I can't believe all these retards speaking for Reagan. He is the original retard that started the Retardlican tradition of electing retards, the huge national debt, and the bitter division of the nation. BTW, a buddy of mine who is a physicist used to work on the Ronnie's ray gun.

You are a spoiled little baby.
Don't like working for someone? Do you expect more? Then, make a change.
If you are not intelligent enough to do so, then it's YOUR FAULT, not your so called "Rich Republican" employer.
I'm sure you never worked for a democrat in your entire life. Oh, and hater is a common word thrown out by the left.

What side are you on? It seems quite obvious that you seem quite conflicted and I don't really understand your comment but WTF who cares anyhow.

Sorry Rayray, I won't have to rely on SSI when I retire. My home is paid for and I have quite a comfortable retirement set up. As far as health insurance, we already pay for our own. Are we rich? Not by any means, but we have always managed to live off of what we earned which has never been over $50 grand between us per year. We are extremely frugal and pinch pennies at any chance we can. You see RayRay, we PLANNED for our retirement. We PLANNED to pay off our home early and avoided the plague of spendable cash in a second mortgage. We never allowed our credit card to "Max Out" and always paid off the balance ASAP. We didn't have to buy a new car just because the Joneses did.

You can say what you want, RayRay, but good financial planning is the best fight against government controlling the rest of your life.
