Hello Libby,Interested in your opinion...When driving north on I-5 just south of the interstate bridge, you pass a billboard put up by Columbia Credit Union that offers to help us become "responsible borrowers". Then, at the intersection of Pioneer and 45th streets in Ridgefield, a prominent sign announces that Columbia Credit union is offering 100% financing on the multitude of homes being built there.Am I the only one seeing a touch of hypocrisy here? Aren't the people with little or no equity in their homes the most likely to walk away from their loans? Isn't this considered to be one of the practices that caused the current real estate bust?Seems irresponsible to me. Any opinion?
