Stephanie - November 14, 2009, you wrote a story about an Iraq war veteran convicted of road rage in an incident on an area highway. The man's name was Christopher P. Partridge. I am a writer interested in talking to Partridge, perhaps to interview him for a book. Do you know how I might be able to contact him or his attorney? Thanks. Jonnie Martin
Stephanie: I caught your 'When nature calls' piece and have to ask why they ship this to Clarkamus County? Why not local dumping?? We that have septic tanks have our pumped out and it's dumped locally. Wouldn't that save some costs??
Stephanie, The more I think about the article I have more questions. I understand the bid process and what is governed by law but we need jobs here and you have a company out of the area?? There is the appearance here taxpayers' money will be spent in the area when this company pays their workers? Then I seem to remember that there was some stink about spreading human waste on fields at one time?? Got to look up the laws that govern that??
Stephanie-Good News for a change: Let me share with you what happen on March 31, 2011. No-one knew that when the mail came here today, there was going to be a check. They varied in amounts. There were several people at the mail box after I got mine. There were "Ah ha's", some said nothing, come cried. We would like to give the Vancouver Housing Authority more than a thumbs up. We applaud you for making our lives a little easier. You have been doing this for many years. The way the economy is in 2011, most people just can't get a break. You broke through. We would also like the tax payers to know that we appreciate their help too. Your tax dollars are going towards us gaining self-help, and self-worth. And that my friend, "Is the American Way." Thank you Again. We the People
Not sure if you already have the latest "Welcome Wagon" letter (Tomato thrower mad about oil and Democrats). Anyway, I got a new one at my house today.
