AFS-USA National Day of Service is April 16th - JOIN US!
AFS-USA’s Columbia Pacific Area Team is proud to announce its participation in the AFS National Day of Service on April 16th, 2011. AFS volunteers, returnees, exchange students, host families and staff will participate in the SOLV South Portland Riverbank Invasive Plant Sweep. In this effort, volunteers from AFS and SOLV will work together to clean up the Willamette River bank. The event will take place on Saturday, April 16th, from 9am-1pm at Willamette Park (SW Macadam Ave + SW Nebraska, Portland, OR.) Following the clean-up there will be a potluck from 1pm-3pm.
