SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) — Seton Hall forward Herb Pope is undergoing tests at a hospital after collapsing during a workout at the school.
The university confirms that Pope collapsed late Wednesday afternoon while working out for the upcoming NBA draft, which he has entered.
The university did not release information about Pope’s condition Thursday.
After the incident, Seton Hall would only say a student-athlete fell ill and was taken to a hospital. Assistant athletic director Matt Sweeney cited privacy laws in not identifying Pope or commenting on his condition on Wednesday.
