VALE, Ore. (AP) — Two Washington state men have pleaded guilty to a series of charges in a carjacking at gunpoint followed by a high-speed chase in Oregon.

The Ontario Argus-Observer reported that 25-year-old James M. Duvall and 37-year-old David Joseph Sarbacher pleaded guilty last week to robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and other charges.

Malheur County District Attorney Dan Norris said the two men spent more than 45 minutes in a high-speed chase on June 23 that began in Ontario and ended about six miles west of Vale after stealing a pickup truck.

Speeds reached more than 100 mph in the chase.

Sentencing was scheduled Sept. 8 with a minimum of seven years expected for each man.
