ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The story keeps changing, but one thing remains the same about Albert Haynesworth: He still isn’t practicing.
The Redskins defensive tackle was sidelined again Thursday, the last day of training camp.
When Haynesworth was pulled out of practice Tuesday, coach Mike Shanahan said he thought it was because the two-time All-Pro was feeling sick. When Haynesworth didn’t practice Wednesday, the coach chalked it up to dehydration.
On Thursday, the coach said it appeared to be a headache more so than dehydration that is keeping Haynesworth idle.
Haynesworth made it through only five of 18 full practices from start to finish during three weeks of camp. He missed the first nine days because he failed a conditioning test and had a sore knee.
