EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police say a man shot to death at an Everett apartment was a heroin dealer who was attacked by two robbers.
In court papers filed Wednesday, police said the victim, Alonzo “Ocho” Lopez-Gonzalez, was known to keep a large amount of money.
The Daily Herald reports two men went to the apartment last Friday, accused the dealer of selling “bad dope” and demanding their money back. After the man opened the safe he was dragged to the second-floor balcony where he was either pushed or jumped. He was shot in the back when he was on the ground.
Police have arrested one suspect and looking for the other.
