Study group for human resource professionals: Southwest Washington Human Resource Management Association is offering a 12-week study group for human resource professionals in preparation for PHR/SPHR professional certification exam or to gain a broader understanding and overview of human resources management. The group will meet 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays beginning Sept. 2 at Dick Hannah’s Subaru at the Auto Mall. Christmas Tree Fair and Trade Show: The Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association will host its 52nd annual tree fair and trade show at the Vancouver Hilton, 301 W. Sixth St. on Sept. 10 and 11. The trade show will run on Sept. 10 from noon to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 11. Admittance is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
