Rogge says Youth Olympics to have better athletes

SINGAPORE (AP) — International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge says some countries regret not sending their top athletes to the inaugural Youth Olympics in Singapore.

Rogge said at a news conference Thursday those countries had promised that their best teenage athletes will participate at the next Youth Games in Nanjing, China, in 2014.
