SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A Salem chiropractor has been suspended for 18 months by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners after complaints from female patients.

The Statesman Journal reported the board issued a notice of proposed disciplinary action last September against Gregory Moll after “a lengthy investigation documented allegations of inappropriate behavior with a number of past and present female patients.”

The board also said Moll failed to keep some patient records and he treated a horse without a referral from a veterinarian.

The suspension that began Monday will be followed by a five-year probation with several conditions, including a national ethics exam.

The newspaper said calls made to Moll and to his lawyer, David Briggs, were not returned.
