The Parks Foundation of Clark County recently announced it received $25,000 in donations to benefit community programs. Donations include:

• A $12,000 donation from John and Debra Bauman, owners of Bauman Chiropractic. The Baumans donated $6,000 to provide free swim lessons for low-income youth and an additional $6,000 to fund free family swim sessions at the Marshall Community Center.

• A $10,000 donation from the Nutter Family Foundation through Dozer Day 2010. Half the donation will support the Access to Recreation program. The other half will be used for the Everybody Plays! Recreation Scholarship Program.

• The Parks Foundation also received a $3,000 grant through the Walmart Community Giving Program that will help support the Northeast Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association’s kids Christmas party.
