PARIS (AP) — Francoise Lasne has been appointed as the French anti-doping laboratory director on a permanent basis by the French anti-doping agency.
Lasne has been running the lab since Jacques de Ceaurriz died in January. She co-developed the urine test for EPO with De Ceaurriz in 2000.
Last month, Lasne was interviewed by U.S. investigators at Interpol headquarters as part of a probe into drug use by cyclists.
